From the Hunterian Museum, Mr. Jeffs’ skeleton suffers from Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressive in which “bone forms in muscles, tendons and other connective tissue” and also fuses to other bones, preventing movement.
Last November I took a few stereoscopic views of dioramas in the Deutches Museum in Munich – I will post a few of them. To view go cross-eyed until the two images register over each other. It can help to concentrate in a single item, such as the figure standing in the right hand foreground. AS the image resolves try to relax and the depth with appear.
