I have posted some of these before – model stage sets from the library of the Garnier Opera house in Paris. I will post some in stereo when I get a minute.
I have been looking at older submarine interiors for a while. Despite the distinct form of the hull, the spatial definition comes from the density of program – instruments, gauges and controls. I am interested in this programmatic saturation. The stereoscopy reveals the thickness of depth that is flattened in the single image. From the Submarine Museum.
