I have been looking at older submarine interiors for a while. Despite the distinct form of the hull, the spatial definition comes from the density of program – instruments, gauges and controls. I am interested in this programmatic saturation. The stereoscopy reveals the thickness of depth that is flattened in the single image. From the Submarine Museum.
