Stereo Anomaly

The stereoscopic photograph below was taken next tot he site of the previous post on the Calder sculpture, on the Grand Canal side of the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. The camera is static – there is no parallax between the left and right images, except for the boat (Vaporetto) which moves between taking the two pictures, and thus appears as a three-dimensional object in a two dimensional world.
