The Dining Room (1925)
I saw this painting at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen on Sunday. It reminded me of his painting from the same year at the Tate:

In both paintings there are items in the foreground on the table that are almost in plan (such as plates), and just behind them items (such as the water jug above) that are almost in elevation, and yet the assembly appears to make complete spatial sense, a very subtle adjustment of perspective working with close proximity.
