Here is a caption and the Lounger it describes from the Griffith Observatory (the subject of the previous post). Planetarium projectors are a wonderful example of ideas embodied in things and the Zeiss Mk IV is one of the finest. Its use, documented here, anticipates the active landscapes of flight simulators – in a delightfully home-spun way.
