Plug In Summer Institute
During July this summer (1015) Perry Kulper (University of Michigan) and I are running the annual Summer Institute at the Plug In Institute for Contemporary Art in Winnipeg, Canada.
It looks like we have a good group of people joining us but we have space for a couple or maybe three more – the deadline is January the 5th 2015.
If you are interested, have a look here:

And while we are plugging stuff, if you are new to the site, this is the Pamphlet Architecture edition by Perry and me that came out around this time last year.
Available in the USA:
and in the UK:
Berg
Anna Deamer has built some film sets for an imaginary film of Ann Quin’s novel Berg, exhibited by CINECITY at Grand Parade Gallery, Brighton
San Michele
San Michele is Venice’s graveyard island. Unless you are Ezra Pound or Diaghilev or very rich, your urn and ashes are recycled after a few years as landfill to extend the island – the ground is made of ashes and monumental masonry. Sensitively, it is located directly opposite the hospital.
